Shoe Shops and Flower Pots!

Millie decided she was going to make the most out of her last day as a 4 year old!

She took 4 shoes if different pairs out onto the garden! She also pulled the inside out of one of them!

After I got the shoes off of her she found a flower pot! She thought that killing it was great fun!

Joe the Fence Climber!

Millie has eaten numerous tissues today! She's also done lots of running around the garden and cuddling Whaley!

However, Joe has been jumping up fences, barking at a dog on the other side! Millie jumps up at the fence with her back paws still on the ground but Joe jumps with all four paws off the ground and is higher than her!

A Day Off!

It was hot today so Millie didn't do any training, I don't want to tire her out! She managed to tire herself out though by running around the garden with her toys and the bouncy ball she found!

She's now really tired and is having a sleep on the sofa with Whaley!

On the Barrel some More!

We did a bit more training on the barrel today. I timed Millie roughly and she averaged about 10m in about 15 seconds, not bad!

We've also been practising our stops for the Gold award. They are a bit better, but not fussy examiner standard! I don't mind if she doesn't pass, it's not like she can't do other things!

She's also been running around the garden with the bouncy ball she found again, no wonder she's too tired to do lots of training! 

Dog Training Classes Outside

For the first time this year! Millie was good. She did the recall well, through the middle of all the other dogs and two dogs not in the class running around. She did the out if site stay well but sat up so we will need to practise a bit more. The stops weren't so good. She did it when I was closer but when I was really far away she ran so fast she couldn't stop! We haven't done it in a while though so she did well really.

One of Millie's Best Yet...

I just caught Millie eating something. I thought it was a bit of cardboard (not unusual!) but when I looked closer saw a glimpse of orange. She then moved the paper around in her mouth and I saw a number 10 on it. She'd only gone and started eating a £10 note! I managed to get it off of her with the use of a treat. It was intact but a bit wet!

More Stealing and Barrel Riding!

Yesterday Millie stole a sandwich! Today she drank some milk that was in a cup on the table and she also tried to get some potatoes off the table!

She made up for it by being very good on her barrel. She did 10m in 15 seconds and that wasn't even her fastest!
