This morning, instead of going on our normal walk, we went on a longer walk. This made a nice change as we don't walk here very often and its further than we normally go!
Millie on our walk!
When we came home, I decided that while the weather was nice we'd go outside and do some training.
To start with, we did a trick we need for the next Happy Dog Award. It was running a figure of eight around two poles. I filmed this so there's only one trick to go now!
I thought that while we had the cones/poles out, we would do some jumping! I went and got the rest of the jumps and set them up. Millie had a lovely time! She loves jumping and its really good for maintaining her strength so she can do her other tricks as well as she does!
Now she's tired out and asleep on the sofa! I'm sure it won't be long before all her energy's restored though!
Thanks to hosts Dachshund Nola and Sugar the Golden Retriever
Looks like loads of fun and good exercise too. We are on shorter walks as the temps are well below zero, but it is only for a few days.
ReplyDeleteYes! That's cold, I don't blame you for having shorter walks!
DeleteWow! Did Mom make those jumps? I practice at school, but would love to do so at home! You are a great athlete!
ReplyDeleteThe jumps were from ebay! We don't go to agility classes but have all the equipment for the garden! Thank you!
DeleteLove the jumps! Riley is starting agility in April but she can't do any proper jumps as she is only 4 months.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm sure you'll have a great time!
