A Day Out at Hickstead

Today Millie and I went to Hickstead for to watch the showjumping.

When we got there we were surprised to see Barry from dog training and his wife! Millie managed to get some ice cream off of Jill but Barry already knows Millie's tricks and didn't give in to her pleading!

We walked around lots and on one stall there were sample dog treats. Another lady that was looking at the stall started giving Millie loads of treats! She loved it!

We watched the horses for a bit and Millie was quite good, only barking when people clapped. She did try to steal the food the man sitting in front of us was eating though!

She had a lovely day, with lots of food, new smells and attention!

A Lucky Find and Skateboarding!

Look what we found on our walk this morning! It's taken nearly 7 years to find more than 20p!

This afternoon I took Millie skateboarding. She hasn't been for ages so was really eager!

My amazing girl!

Monday Evening Walk

On Monday evening we went on another lovely walk in Lingfield. We went all around the park and Millie had a lovely run around.

She chased a squirrel up a tree and loved sniffing all the new, different smells.

Staying Out the Sun!

As it's been so hot the last few days, Millie and I have gone for some shorter walks around the pond and gone later in the evenings.

Of course, shorter walks means more time for posing!

Yesterday we went for our evening walk at around 9pm. Millie had a little play on the green by the pond.

She's not all good though - on Sunday she stole my dinner off the table!!

A Lovely Walk in Lingfield

Today I had a few hours off so I decided to take Millie for a walk around the park in Lingfield.

It's much bigger than just the but we go dog training in and Millie was off the lead the whole time. She was chasing sticks, sniffing and thoroughly enjoying herself!

A Fun Evening Dog Training

Millie had a good time dog training last night. We went to the park as the weather was nice.

When we got there there were a group of people playing rounders. The was clearly a massive distraction as there was shouting, running about and balls!! However, Millie didn't take any notice and did exactly what she was meant to do.

We did some off lead heelwork and an out of sight stay.

We didn't fit in that many exercises because some of the dogs fell for the distractions! Millie and I did some tricks while we were waiting though and Millie also posed for some photos for me!

When the class was finished I let Millie off her lead for a play. One of the other dogs, Loci, came up to her and encouraged Millie to chase him! She had a wonderful time playing with him, although they nearly knocked a couple of people over!

Dog Training

We went dog training in the field tonight.

We had a nice walk down there and Millie enjoyed having a sniff.

We did heelwork to start with. Moo was perfect despite other dogs running around!

After that we did the out of sight stays. All the dogs did really well and Millie stayed there the whole time!

Then we practised the 'stop the dog' exercise. Millie dos it well and we also did a few tricks, playing with a stick and a little photo shoot at the same time!

We had a nice walk back too. Millie really enjoyed herself and did what she was meant to do. Good girl!
