Naughty Millie!!!

This morning we went on a nice walk down the Worth Way. Millie stopped and did a poo, I bent down to pick it up, and she kicked a load of soil and dirt in my face!

When I'd got it off of me, we carried on. I looked at Millie and she had sticky green things all over her! It looked horrible so I pulled them off there and then! She carried on running and sniffing around and got grass seeds in the long fur on her ears! I pulled them out and the rest of the walk was uneventful!

This evening, Millie stole a slice of pizza, out a box on the table!

Disc Dog and Lovely Walk!

Today Millie and I have been practising disc dog some more! She's doing well!

This evening we went to Lingfield. We had a lovely walk, around some of the other fields as well as the main one. It was a really nice walk and Millie had a lovely run off the lead. We took her frisbee and although she only caught it a couple of times she had a brilliant time chasing it!

We stopped in the pub for a drink afterwards!

Tricks and Posing!

This morning I got Millie to pose for me so I could take some nice photos. Millie was more than happy to oblige!

 

 

 

We also did a bit more training this afternoon. Mainly distance work. Millie was a very good girl!

Naughty Millie!

Millie was very naughty the other day, she stole a packet of biscuits! I went in the garden and saw her like this!

 

 

She was a good girl and did give it back so I gave her one for her efforts!

 

 

Yesterday we did some training and Millie learnt to push a beach ball with her nose!

A Tribute to Uggie

Millie and I have decided to dedicate this post to Uggie, a canine star who recently passed away.

Uggie was a very talented Jack Russell Terrier, who could perform a whole array of tricks and had many TV appearances and featured in films, including 'Water for Elephants' and 'The Artist'. He was rescued from going to a pound aged two by owner and trainer, Omar von Muller and is among the likes of Lassie and Rin Tin Tin.

He is most well known for his starring role in Oscar winning film 'The Artist'.

A huge source of inspiration to Millie and I, RIP Uggie. xx

More Prizes!

We were on our normal walk this morning and we went to turn down a path we always turn down. Millie had her space lobber with her on the walk. A delivery man was walking up the path, and the next thing I know he's nearly fallen over! That made Millie jump, she ran back, dropped the space lobber - SQUEAK!! And the man nearly fell over even more!! All I could do was stand there and try not to laugh!

Millie had another parcel in the post today! This time prizes from a Rosewood competition that we won! It's all summer cooling things, which will be brilliant for the warm weather! 

She also got a squirrel toy, which she's in love with!

We went for another walk around Lingfield tonight and Millie had another nice run!

Millie's Prize!

Today Millie's prize for being in Dogs Today magazine arrived!

She was very excited and especially loves the space lobber toy!

She's done nothing but play with the toy since! It's come on every walk! 

She's even tried to hide it!

And it's been under constant supervision!

We went for a walk around Lingfield this evening. Needless to say, the space lobber came with us!

Millie had a nice time off the lead. At one point, another dog came in the field, also off the lead. Millie went over there and they sniffed each other nicely! She was probably showing it her beloved space lobber!

Millie's Summer Holiday!

Sorry we have been absent lately, we've been to Suffolk!

Millie had a lovely time!

On Sunday, we went to Suffolk Dog Day. It was very wet but Millie did a super round in the have a go agility and we also did rally obedience for the first time, where we got a rosette for taking part!

 

 

We've been to the beach every day and been on lots of nice walks.

 

 

 

There was an incident one night where I was looking for my toothbrush. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. Millie had gone to bed. I thought I'd lost the plot - who loses a toothbrush?! A dog barked outside and Millie looked up and shuffled around a bit. She'd been lying on the toothbrush the whole time! 

We also entered a talent show and came 1st, winning a holiday back there in September and the chance to compete in the finals!!
