Dog Walking Day

Today we went to Hever Castle for Mountain Warehouse Dog Walking Day. 

It was around the grounds of Hever Castle. Although it was very muddy, it was still a nice walk and Millie got a goody bag at the end of it!

Another Walk down Worth Way!

Today we went for another walk down the Worth Way. I took Millie on her extendable lead so if it was busy she could still run about. She was off her lead a bit and then I saw a dog walking ahead I is so I put her back in the lead. It's a good job I did because a pheasant then walked across I front of us! Once everything was clear I let her off again and she was very good. I then saw another dog coming so put her back on again. It was a Jack Russell that came running towards us. She saw it coming and ran full speed on her extendable lead and nearly pulled me over! I was able to let her off again when they'd gone and she was very good though!

Bookmark Eater!

Millie has just stolen a sock, slipper and a cardboard bookmark all in the space of about a minute!

A Walk in the Park

Today Millie and Joe had a walk in the park. Despite the rain, they still enjoyed it!

In the Tennis Field Again!

We went to the tennis field again today. Millie had a great time running off the lead and especially enjoyed chasing three boys playing football! They were all terrified of her!

First Show of the Year!

Today we went to our first fun dog show this year!

Both doggies did really well. The came 5th together in the Fancy Dress class. Millie came 4th in Biscuit Catcher and 5th in Best Trick. 

In the Best Trick she was absolutely amazing and did everything despite all the out her smells and dogs as distractions. She also did the longest performance and got the most applause! Some people came and found us afterwards and said that we should have come first! Others also said it was like we were doing a whole demonstration!

More Running in the Tennis Field!

Millie had another lovely run in the tennis field today. We were the only ones there so we had the field to ourselves!

Millie the Monkey!

Millie has been a real monkey today ! It started with her knocking over a cup of water with her tail. She then ran off with numerous shoes, slippers, even a milk bottle top! Although she can do tricks, she's still the same Millie!

A Walk on the Forest

Just come back from a lovely walk with the doggies across Ashdown Forest. I let Millie off her lead there for the first time and she was really good! We didn't see any other dogs so her and Joe had a lovely run and sniff around!
